About the Speaker

Dr. Susan Weinberger (also known as “Dr. Mentor”) is the founder of Mentor Consulting Group, and has been recognized for her expertise in establishing, maintaining, and evaluating school and community-based and employee coaching and mentoring programs. Her work has been published widely, and the programs she has designed have been replicated internationally. Dr. Weinberger is the former chair of the Public Policy Council of MENTOR/National Mentoring Partnership. She is a consultant to the U.S. Departments of Education, Health and Human Services, Labor, and Justice on their mentoring initiatives, as well as many state-level government agencies involved in mentoring. She is an Honor Roll Trustee of Scholarship America and a Board member of Norwalk Community College and the United Way of Coastal Fairfield County. Dr. Weinberger has numerous publications on mentoring and coaching, including BLR HR Advisor articles.
