The Science Fundamentals programs are designed to make science relevant in a child's everyday life. Peer hosts introduce live-action, concrete situations to help teach scientific concepts and principles. Colorful graphics, animation and detailed diagrams are used throughout the program to reinforce the learning process.

Each module includes a video program plus a Digital Workbook that follows along with the program to reinforce the video material. The subject matter correlates directly to state standards and designed by an academic team of professors, students, actors, comedians, and teachers. Just the Facts: Earth Science Essentials examines the major areas of study in Earth Science. Concepts are illustrated with live footage, video clips, and animated graphics. Each video is divided into sections to explore specific themes, and concludes with a summary of key points. The award-winning Just the Facts series will intrigue and inform, using language that is easily understandable.

Students learn about the potential that lies in the development of alternative energy sources. Topics include: wind, solar, biomass, small-scale hydropower, geothermal, hydropower and fuel cells.

This video series addresses these questions by investigating Earth’s place in the universe, its formation as a planet, and its relationship with the sun. Systems thinking and conservation are touched upon as we explore Earth as an energetic, dynamic, and recycling planet.

Presenter Mark Boland, an Accelerator Physicist at the Australian Synchrotron, explains the physics and operation of a synchrotron, then covers their uses in medicine, mining, forensics, manufacturing and other fields.

Have you ever wondered what causes earthquakes, or how volcanoes are formed? This 12-part series will answer these questions and more by discussing the most fascinating areas of Earth Science. Beginning with the Earth’s atmosphere, this program will explore the effect of contamination and pollution, the characteristics of land and sea, natural disasters, glaciers, biochemical cycles, and more!

The climate, animals, and plant life vary greatly in the different parts of the world. Students explore how wildlife and the environment work together in harmony. By viewing the program and engaging in activities, viewers will learn to identify and locate the seven major biomes found on earth and how they interact with each other.
