In this curriculum for ages 10-14, students will be guided through the basics of working in food service in their FACS class.
Students will learn how to:
- Apply for a job
- Develop interviewing skills, and
- Practice on-the-job work skills utilizing basic food preparation techniques.
Using a simulated bakery setting, students will learn necessary job requirements such as teamwork, communication skills, independence and responsibility.

Appropriate for grades 6-8.
