This program is about how you can take steps to help protect yourself and your family from various types from cancer. About one third of all cancer deaths may be related to what we eat. Making positive choices in your diet everyday promotes good nutrition and good health and may reduce your risk of some types of cancer.
Working With Stress - Stress increases illness, injury, and job performance and unlike other occupational hazards nearly the entire working population can be affected. Most studies show that ¼ to 1/3 of today’s workers report high levels of stress at work. The latest research tells us that job stress plays a major role in many chronic health problems. The evidence is growing.
Grades 6-12 In one out of eight teenage relationships, dating becomes a complicated pattern of physical and/or emotional abuse inflicted on one partner — most often the girl — and a pursuit of power and control by the other. In a series of dramatic vignettes, this workshop addresses myths about the nature of love and gender-related behavior that allow dating violence to flourish.
