The course highlights the need for regular maintenance, proper equipment usage, and the importance of operator training. It also guides routine inspections and manages runaway equipment.

An interactive simulation lets learners identify jobsite hazards, reinforcing safety awareness and protocols.

This safety training course covers:

• Categorize the Primary Types of Earthmoving Equipment: Classify the main categories of earthmoving equipment to understand their distinct functions and characteristics.

• Foster an Appreciation for Preventative Maintenance and Equipment Inspection: Develop an understanding of the significance of preventive maintenance practices and equipment inspections in maintaining the reliability and safety of earthmoving equipment.

• Recognize Various Safety Controls on Earthmoving Equipment: Identify and understand the different safety controls and features integrated into earthmoving equipment to ensure safe and responsible operation.

• Identify hazards associated with earthmoving equipment: Recognize and assess potential hazards that are commonly associated with the use of earthmoving equipment, emphasizing the importance of hazard awareness and mitigation.

Seat time: 15 minutes

Training Format: Online VR Simulation. Learners can complete the course with or without a VR headset on all mobile devices and laptops.

Instructors can also use the VR simulations & gamified content for face-to-face sessions or in virtual classroom settings.
