Safety Orientation For Heavy Manufacturing – This program is an overview of your safety responsibilities to help you perform your job safely. Safety is a responsibility that’s important to you, the company, and your fellow employees. Accident and injury statistics compiled over the last 50 years reveal that the majority of all accidents are caused by the unsafe acts of employees such as taking short cuts, violating safety rules or job procedures.

Safety Orientation In Office Environments - Office safety is perhaps more important than safety in a manufacturing environment. The most important part of office safety is thinking safety on the job in an office environment. Injury statistics show that 85 to 98% of all accidents/injuries result from unsafe acts of employees.

An integral part of any chemical hygiene plan is chemical fume hood safety. The term “fume hood,” “chemical hood” and “chemical fume hood” are used interchangeably. This program will focus on using the hood safely, limitations of chemical hoods, good laboratory practices and how to confirm that the hood is operating properly.
