Building on Part 1, this module dives into BBP prevention practicalities, urging vigilance and best practices in the workplace to reduce BBP exposure risks.
This module provides foundational BBP knowledge for workplace settings.
This course covers:
- Acquire knowledge of effective BBP spread prevention: Develop a comprehensive understanding of the best practices for preventing the transmission of bloodborne pathogens (BBP).
- Recognize Various Types of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Identify the different types of personal protective equipment required for safeguarding against BBP exposure.
- Safely Don and Doff Gloves to Minimize Exposure Risk: Demonstrate the proper techniques for safely putting on (donning) and removing (doffing) gloves to minimize the risk of BBP exposure.
- Demonstrate Proficiency in Contaminated Material Disposal: Show competence in the proper procedures for disposing of materials contaminated with BBP, ensuring safe and responsible handling.

Seat time: 15 minutes
Training Format: Online VR Simulation. Learners can complete the course with or without a VR headset on all mobile devices and laptops.
All courses are accessible through an LMS. For smaller orders, delivery can be facilitated directly through our LMS. For larger volume purchases, SCORM packages are available for delivery to be integrated into your organization's LMS.
